Hackers tried to sell stolen from the exchange Coincheck cryptocurrency NEM.

Behind the hacking of the Japanese stock exchange Coincheck hackers tried to sell the stolen cryptocurrency NEM. The Vice-President of the Foundation NEM Jeff MacDonald told Reuters.
According to him, the attackers tried to sell cryptocurrency on six exchanges, they used an unidentified account. Now employees of NEM are trying to determine the location of the owner of the account, the Fund also got in touch with the exchanges on which the kidnappers tried to sell the cryptocurrency.
What about the exchanges in question, MacDonald said. He also did not say what was the amount of hackers trying to sell cryptocurrency.
Administration Coincheck reported hacking of the stock exchange on 26 January. The attackers stole cryptocurrency NEM 58 billion yen ($533 million). Representatives Coincheck has promised to pay the users compensation.
